I was recently told by a client, “You are my customer.” Four simple words that made me feel immediately comfortable with the project. It was clearly established that I would receive necessary information to meet my commitments. Throughout the entire engagement, I had immediate access to employees and information.
Can you imagine how powerful that statement could be when used by call center agents in servicing customers? The tone of collaboration is immediately set. Customers will react positively when they are working with someone who is willing to take responsibility for his part of the dialogue.
I’m going to rob and duplicate (R & D) the statement and a little part of the client will be carried with me on future engagements!
